Partners Advancing Catholic Education (PACE)
|
PACE fundraisers assist participating SVP families by making Catholic
education more affordable for SVP school students, graduates who are
attending a Catholic high school in the Milwaukee Archdiocese and our
religious education students. Partners can help by participating in four
fundraisers. Volunteers can help
with the Market Day and Scrip programs.
Market Day is the originator of the fundraising food cooperative and has
been in business for 28 years. A brochure of available top-quality foods is
published and available every month. The school collects various profit
percentages from the sales.
Volunteer opportunities include: Unload, sort and distribute food items for
Market Day orders. Commitment: one Monday afternoon per month (Sept – June)
from 2 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the West Site.

$CRIP
|
$CRIP is a year-round fundraiser for the parish. The parish purchases $CRIP
certificates at various discounts from grocery and department stores,
restaurants, specialty shops, gas stations and hardware stores and sells
them directly to parishioners at face value. The buyer can use them at
participating businesses or give them as gift certificates, and the parish
receives a percentage of the $CRIP value.
Volunteer opportunities include: Sellers and team captain. Commitment for
sellers: 10 to 20 minutes weekly or twice a month after a weekend Mass; team
captain: 3-5 hours a week gathering and placing orders, collecting payments
and distributing certificates.
