Religious Education Program

Religion is an important part of the life of the family. We become members of God’s Family when we are baptized. Religion should be a part of our family life. It is so important that we pray together as a family and have family rituals: such as family meals together, a set time to pray together as a family and for each other, parents blessing their children as they go off to school, and coming together as a family to attend Mass on the weekend.

Religious Education is for families whose children do not attend a Catholic School. Religious Education classes are held in collaboration with St. Therese Parish for students from K4 - High School.  Classes meet on Sunday mornings at 10:15am at St. Therese Parish located at 9525 W. Bluemound Road, Milwaukee.

The Sacramental Years 2nd Grade and 10th Grade have special classes for the students in preparation for receiving sacraments. Students need to have attended religious education classes prior to their 2nd Grade and 10th Grade years.

Second graders are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation in the fall and for Eucharist in the spring. Additional classes are held to prepare students and families for these two Sacraments.

Tenth graders are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Those students attending Catholic high school must also attend Confirmation preparation classes in their home parish.

We welcome all students and families interested in religious education classes.  Please contact the Parish Office at 414-453-5344 or register on the St. Therese website by clicking HERE.
